The denim is soft right out of the box, not stiff like I worried. Strap adjusts easily and it stayed put through a windy afternoon. The embroidery is clean and thick, no loose threads anywhere.

The adjustable strap actually fits my big head, which is rare for hats. The cotton denim is soft right out of the box and the "LEAVE ME ALONE" stitching has a nice hand-made feel. I've worn it almost every day since it arrived.
